The United Nations Praise Uganda For Its Role in Somalia Peacekeeping Operations

As written by the New –Vision  gazette in Uganda, the deputy of the African Union representative of Somalia affairs, Mr. Wafula Wamunyinyi stongly praised the president of the Uganda for his efforts and role Uganda played during the peacekeeping operation in Somalia.

Wamunyinyi said ”I am thanking for the Ugandan president for sending his army to Somalia, and how Ugandan soldiers have devoted their lives to a civilwar ravaged country.The Ugandan army have done excellent job”.
Wamunyinyi has displayed that the soldiers have introduced to most of the Somali regions a calm and peace. The African Union peacekeeping forces in Somalia are mainly from Uganda, Burundi, Djibouti, and Serrileone those are cooperating to introduce peace inside Somalia.

“Ugandan forces have waged operations that have displaced Al-Shabab terorrists in the country those have being dominating the capital city as well as south center Somalia. This operation has caused that the peace returned to the center and South Somalia” said Wamunyinyi.

Wamunyinyi addressed his speech to a 38 women parliamentarains those have been welcomed in Ugand to participate a seminar workshop.Uganda is in the first line to assist Somali government and has the most number of army other than any other country in the mission.
